Keep the Kids Entertained

RIBs are proven to be an awesome way of keeping both boys and girls entertained for a few hours. All that wind and fresh air will also help everyone sleep well that night!

Big Kids

For high speed rides we do recommend that children need to be at least 1.25 metre tall (about 4 feet) to enjoy the experience. We recommend the Solent RIB Experience or half day charters as being ideal lengths of time for a younger audience to enjoy being out on the water.

Small Kids

For smaller children we would be delighted to arrange a more sedate charter, for example motoring up the Hamble River, stopping for a picnic or the Jolly Sailor and generally enjoying all of the busy river life and interesting wildlife there is to be seen. A day or half day charter is perfect for this kind of outing and we should be able to arrange timings to suit your needs.

“In-Betweenies”

For kids that aren’t quite big enough to enjoy a high speed ride, we can still go out into the Solent but keep the pace down and ensure everyone is happy and safe. Options such as Cowes, visiting Spinnaker Tower, or going to The Folly for a good pub lunch all become an option. A day charter is perfect for this kind of outing and we should be able to arrange timings to suit your needs.
